I've seen them 59 times now, and it's getting a bit stale. If someone could mod a skip for the credits that'd be great. Deadlee6 View Profile View Posts. I think i might have the answer, Cheat Engine.. Prolly take like 5 seconds max, once skipped close Cheat Engine. He then said he was following a different path, and eventually said he will be addressed as Big Boss from that point onward.
Similar to in Snake Eater , after the post-credit scenes dialogue conclude, the screen will be altered slightly, with the text turning from white to black, although the color of the background's change will vary depending on whether it was the first or second post-credits scene. If the former, the black background will turn yellow.
If the latter, it will turn to red. Boris Vyacheslavovich Popov contacts Raiden , and confirms that thanks to Raiden's actions and Steven Armstrong 's death, World Marshal was put to sale and the Sears Program was eliminated, although World Marshal itself was still in function, especially with the re-emergence of the war economy. Raiden briefly recalled Armstrong's final words to him. Raiden also confirmed that he won't be returning to Maverick , and then cited that he has his own war to fight.
Halfway through, it shows Raiden, in a human-like body similar to his appearance in the opening, walking through a town, with four cyborg soldiers lying in wait to ambush him.
As they ready to attack him, Raiden then materializes a container that is implied to contain his sword, and gives a brief smirk as his eyes shine red before the Metal Gear Rising logo appears. It shows a part of one of the opening cutscenes in Raiden's story.
A guard shouts to Sam, who now works for World Marshal to clear the road as it is an official state business. It then shows the guard aiming a machine gun at Sam who comes closer to the guard and prepares his sword and shouts again to clear the road. Sam then comes closer to the guard who shouts to authorize force if he does not comply to the rules. Sam is then seen charging at the guard then the scene stops before the words "To be continued in Metal Gear Rising Revengeance" with the titular game's logo's appearance implying that Sam's DLC story is the prequel to the main storyline.
Skull Face informs Paz Ortega Andrade that, thanks to the failure of his grand experiment, Zero had gone into hiding, with various Cipher agents getting their orders only from proxies, before pointing out that Paz was the exception to the rule as she actually met him in order to meet up with Snake, and thus she knew Zero's location. He then demanded that she tell him his location before telling her that he never knew freedom, and Paz was effectively free.
She then asked if this knowledge would aid Big Boss and whether he would kill Zero for her. Although Skull Face inferred that it might help Big Boss survive, he made clear that he won't kill Zero, not for her sake at least. Paz then proceeds to tell him Zero's location after some hesitation. Although technically during the credits rather than after them, the very beginning of the credits has Skull Face sarcastically saying that " Here's to You " was Paz's favorite song, and described the song's message, before telling Paz that her sacrifice won't change things.
This conversation, as well Skull Face's comment about "Here's to You", both can actually be found on Chico 's sixth tape. Besides the main story, there are also post-credits debriefings for all of the side missions except for the Intel Operative Rescue mission.
Two of the side missions three counting extra ops also include two alternate debriefings, depending on the player's actions for the mission:. In Eliminate the Renegade Threat , depending on the manner in which the player deals with Glaz and Palitz , the debriefing is different. If the player kills them, Miller will cite that the war will be over soon with their deaths, although he then noted that Glaz and Palitz carrying a huge amount of fear, deep enough that even death didn't terrify them, causing Miller to question what was going on at the Naval facility.
If the player non-lethally extracts them instead, Miller will reveal that they had searched Glaz and Palitz upon their arrival and discovered that they had a prosthetic finger and a glass eye, indicating that they had resorted to self-mutilation after drugs and therapy couldn't help them from their memories, with Miller reflecting that they had been human after all.
In Classified Intel Acquisition , if the player recovered the tape from the watchtower only, Miller will call in and reveal that the tape contained an interrogation, which served as proof that it had been converted to a black site, although he then told Big Boss that the tape they recovered was also supposed to have a full detailed account of the plan, causing him to wonder if they missed a tape.
Then i realized.. Wait a minute.. This is awesome.. It actually works even though i know it sounds lame.. Combat is now actually.. A crap load of guns to purchase and find as well In terms of game play.. This is snake at his best. Anyone whose played and loved one of the others mgs games.. Will simply get goosebumps crawling through the jungle bit stopping at every change of ground to cameo yourself in.
The story? Im of two sides here.. I mean.. But thats just a fan boy whining cos its over. The ending was predictable to me and if you don't see it coming.. Then shame lol. But yeah.. I cant complain.. Cos i played the game nearly 11 hours straight to finish it up and 8 hours straight when i bought it. I suggest playing it on big boss or at least solid snake. But don't worry about value, you play through again. So yeah.. Ignoring the gripe i had with the music and nagging "fill the story with EVERY character from the series..
And this will be the game that sells all the ps3s. So yeah People that don't like this game cant really be called mgs fans, cos even ignoring the story which is hard to do in this game.. The game play and graphics are so damn hot you'd be mad to miss it. Also it wouldve been nice if you could choose to install the 20 gigs the game requires.. Enjoy your rest Snake. You've earned it.
Does any wanna see me cry like baby well you just missed it. The people in this game went through hell, while i was playing through this saga i became more like Snake, all the character deaths made me cry like a baby that cries 24 hours i even cried after finishing the game.
This Game changed my life from 1 to ,Solid snake and Big Boss are two fictional characters are my idols people of my life, the rest of the characters in this saga are my friends. After 21 years of great games, Hideo Kojima manages to surpass himself and create a terrific ending to the Metal Gear series. Since then, the restriction of military intervention on foreign soil has been eased, creating the need for a number of private military companies, PMCs, fighting proxy wars. The five largest PMC:s are owned by Liquid Ocelot Revolver Ocelot with the mind of Liquid Snake who is planning to start a war against the Patriots, a mysterious organization which has secretly been controlling the USA since the s.
The game is a worthy ending to the series. A lot of glitches have been removed, the game is no longer played from overhead perspective and the cut scenes are better merged with the game and feel almost like movie scenes.
The only thing that I didn't like about the game was the fact that there was no cut scene theater available, like in MGS3. I still think it deserves a full 10, though. This game can be summed up in one word: masterpiece. I have played all the console versions of Metal gear solid and found them to be excellent in every way. Granted i played the second one first and didn't really understand it very well, i stopped playing and bought the first one and continued to play that until i finished it and despite the graphics i was still enthralled, this was back in so playing this game was still very bittersweet.
Then i played MGS 2 and enjoyed that even further but replayed it so many times just to get the undertones and the surreal subtext of the the subplots.
I have to say that playing as Raiden didn't upset me as much as it did the other fans, but i still was disillusioned by the character change. Then i got MGS 3: Snake eater and i thought that it was an interesting premise to set up all the events that led up to the first two console games, and found the plot to be so multi layered and complex that re-play value was high and seven years later i still play it, never has a game with so many subplots been interesting i thought that only worked on 24 but it did anyway and the emotion that is transcended through it what makes the game better.
And now MGS 4: Guns of the patriots, even before the game came out there was the notion th;at this was Snake's final outing and there were rumours that he committed suicide at the end, while i thought this at the end of playing the game i'm glad he didn't as it would have been very anti-climatic. But this game is amazing in every way the controls are better there's more action and the epic story line is one that will keep you playing till the end.
For MGS fans who have been wondering what it all means don't expect a revelation scene as such but much of the plot stands that were made for MGS 2 and MGS 3 are explained and its very satisfying when you have one last fight will liquid ocelot. This is a game that fans should definitely play if they have played the previous games and people who have never played it should play the others and then play this so they can understand the meaning of the word: masterpiece.
This game is just to good, there is no other better example of masterful cut scenes merged with the game play of perfection!!! Hideo kojima has improved every aspect of the game play and introduced the best looking and the most technically impressive game that is ever made. True this may not be every persons game but it is the hardcore fans that will remember this game the most, sure this game didn't beat the records of GTA 4 but will always be remembered as an epic not a blockbuster. There is no video game with such in-depth story line and characterisation these are the aspects hideo kojima focuses on as well as the immense game play.
Evry weapon just feels right and every cqc moves leaves the player satisfying and most importantly the innovation of octacamo which is now considered to be one of the best outfits in games games in the history of game making. Guns of the patriots is Kojimas' ans PS3's finest hour. A true gaming masterpiece and the best game on PS3.
Superb story, sharp and great graphics, kojima productions gave their heart and soul in this game and it resulted to pure perfection. This game by its self is one excellent reason for being proud you are a gamer, it provides you with some extreme moments of gaming joy.
Solid Snake said farewell with an absolutely magnificent game as he truly deserved. However I am sure this is not the last great game that is offered to us by Kojima as even though many started complaining because of Raiden starring in MGS rising, you who complain just look back to Guns of the Patriots, Kojima offered us the greatest game on PS3 and I am sure he has a lot more to offer in gaming. Guns of the Patriots is a must play game as all the other MGS games are.
MiladAbolghasemi 3 February With Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, the story of Snake, who has become one of the most popular characters in the industry, is coming to a close. Impressive and uncompromising, it's sure to inspire just as much love, hate, discussion, and debate as any other game in the series.
The genetically-engineered super soldier once known as Solid Snake has been transformed into Old Snake due to a rapidly accelerated aging process. The game opens in the Middle East, then moves to Latin America, and eventually arrives at a key location in Metal Gear history haunted by old memories, Some of which still have some life left in them.
Metal Gear Solid 4 is a beast in terms of design, Gameplay and story. Through stealthy avoidance or direct engagement, your objective is to move from point to point on an essentially predetermined path in order to trigger your next objective and advance the story. Maps are fairly large, but still very restrictive to the player's movement and divided into smaller areas with obvious breaks, leading to old-fashioned and slightly demeaning escapes by loading screen. Luckily, the path you're meant to take is consistently interesting and rewarding with room for multiple gameplay styles.
This game is the best of the series and if there was ever a game I would bring to a desert island, this is it. This game does not leave a single character out. Even towards the end, everyone's character is wrapped up.
In the last video thing is amazing and it says the fates of people that I truthfully, didn't care about anymore. I did cry. During the end when Snake and Otagon were fighting the robots, I was amazed, When Naomi died, Vamp, and many more, I was amazed how they were able to keep the deaths of even the bad guys sad, when Liquid died, it was the most amazing part of any Metal Gear Solid Game, and When Eva from MGS3 died, I couldn't believe what had happened.
Hideo Kojima spent five years on this masterpiece. And those five years were not wasted. I will always hold this as my favorite video game of all time! And Hideo Kojima will hopefully always be remembered for this game!
With that, brought one of PlayStation's most legendary heroes, Solid Snake. There are a few flaws Graphics - Now don't get me wrong, they are really quite fantastic, but like Kojima himself I think many were still disappointed at some points.
Cinematics - The cut scenes are really really long and the story telling is heavy at times, although worth watching the first time round just to see how everything gets tied up and such. Cameras - Very occasionally the camera angles are iffy.
There have been other complaints like it's not "sneaky" enough, which is rubbish. You have two perfectly viable options in getting stuck in or sneaking around perfectly hidden with the help of the rather spiffy Octocamo. Weapons are a plenty, with some 70 if you include the online bonus of and a few unlock-ables.
The majority are customisable with at least one item, but over all you can get suppressors, fore-grips, grenade-launchers, under-barrel shotguns, laser sights, dot sights, flash lights and scopes.
In addition to all this you get the standard grenades of various kinds, including new sleeping gas satchels and mines and of course The story is amazing, and it pretty much captures you completely or it did me anyway. Though the story would be half of what it is without it's stunning sound track. The main theme remains with various tweaks and to help out they've brought in tracks from all 3 of the other games for various moments. Is there a new Metal Gear? No, just Geckos to deal with I can't comment on MG Online though, as I've not had the access to play it but the comments seem to be positive from others.
The final battle is a huge amount of fun too, even after 6 or 7 times. The Metal Gear Solid franchise is hands down a piece of art. Perhaps one of the greatest stories I have ever experienced.
This gaming franchise is the most advanced form of storytelling to date. Aristotle would be proud to see how far story and art have come.
If you love stories then you have to play all three games, or at least watch the cut scenes on youtube. You would butcher some of its quality by just watching the cut scenes however.
The gamers complaining about this game only complain because there just gamers not artists. Metal Gear Solid a remarkable art piece. Using both film and gaming as its medium. Think of it like a film that's as long as a novel, but you play and also watch throughout the experience. Games are around 8 hours, not like films. Gaming is roughly a book which you get some control over as well as get to see visually on screen. Play them on the easiest mode if you don't play games.
Your option would be to get the remake version Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes on the gamecube, negative is you would have to buy a gamecube or just watch the cut scenes on youtube. Again is you love art and story you should miss this experience. It will change your life. An error has occured. Please try again.
